Mentors & Guest Speakers

Students meet people working in technology and other professional fields, hear how they got there, and get time to ask questions directly.

The idea started close to home

One of VidhyaVision's earliest mentors was the founder's father, who studied in the same rural school community before building a career in technology, including experience at Microsoft and Meta. His conversations with students helped shape mentorship into a regular part of the program.

Today, our network includes 15+ mentors and professionals with experience across technology companies, startups, research, and other industries. The goal is simple: give students a chance to hear directly from people doing the work they may be curious about.

What mentors share

More than a job title — students hear the path behind it.

Individual mentor profiles and past-session details will be added as we receive permission to publish them. For now, these are the kinds of conversations students take part in.

Career journeys

Mentors talk about what they studied, the decisions they made after school, and the path that eventually led them into technology and other professional fields.

How technology is used at work

Students hear how coding, AI, data, product thinking, and problem solving are used by real teams to build and improve products and services.

Student questions and Q&A

Sessions leave time for students to ask direct questions about skills, college, careers, technology, and what professionals wish they had known when they were younger.

Professional backgrounds represented in our mentor network

Mentors and guest speakers in our network bring experience from these organizations and from startups.

Would you share your experience with students?

If you work in technology, engineering, AI, business, research, or entrepreneurship, you can join a session or Q&A and help students understand paths they may not encounter in their everyday classroom.
